Botswana has visa requirements for many countries. It is important to be aware of these well in advance of travel to ensure adequate time to apply for and receive necessary travel documentation. It is also important to find out if any country you transit through en route to Botswana requires a transit visa for travellers with your particular passport. Most common connections are through Zambia, Zimbabwe and South Africa.

A listing of visa exempt countries, requirements and the visa application form for Botswana are available here.

All travelers will need to secure a visa for Zimbabwe. As a part of the meeting, delegates and guests will participate in an exursion to Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe. If you are also arriving via Victoria Falls, you will need to secure a multi-entry visa, available here.
